Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across our warehouse facilities. The role emphasizes safety and reliability, with responsibilities spanning conveyors, stacker cranes, ammonia units, and dock systems.

Candidates should diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with plant systems, PLCS, and various mechanical components, and is ready to work flexible

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required or expected.
Experience in maintenance of conveyance systems and material handling equipment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including 480V and 3-phase motors is desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
Maintain and repair conveyors, stacker cranes, frigation systems, dock equipment, and other mechanical components.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and restore functionality efficiently.
Respond to maintenance requests with a solutions-focused mindset and share knowledge with the team.
Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate or repair components as needed.
Follow safety procedures and document maintenance activities in CMMS.
