Industrial Maintenance Apprentice

This structured, competency-based apprenticeship offers paid on-the-job training, mentorship, and technical education. Apprentices will learn to maintain, repair, and improve production and packaging equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems, assuming more responsibility as they progress under expert supervision.

Activities and perspectives

Tackle, think along, take responsibility

• Learn to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Learn electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic control systems
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and modifications
• Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Follow all Mettler Packaging safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma
