Job summary

Papier-Mettler in West Virginia offers a structured, competency-based apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training, mentorship, and technical education. Job description

This structured, competency-based apprenticeship offers paid on-the-job training, mentorship, and technical education. Apprentices will learn to maintain, repair, and improve production and packaging equipmentincluding mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systemsassuming more responsibility as they progress under expert supervision.

Tackle, think along, take responsibility

• Learn to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Learn electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic control systems
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and modifications
• Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Follow all Mettler Packaging safety policies and procedures

Requirements
