Job summary

Dallas College seeks Adjunct Faculty for the Bill J Priest Center to teach non-credit workforce courses. All positions are on-site; after six months, a hybrid schedule may be possible based on responsibilities and policy.

A minimum Associate degree or direct work experience with a related certification is required, along with strong communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities include developing syllabi, recording grades and attendance, and providing timely evaluations.

Qualifications

• Non-Credit Adjunct faculty must have a minimum of an Associate degree with direct work experience in the specific content area or have specific certification/licensure related to the content area.
• Non-Credit Adjunct faculty teaching non-credit community based/non-workforce courses must have a minimum of an Associate degree or direct work experience with certification (if applicable).
• Official transcripts will be required at time of interview.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course syllabi with minimum college requirements, holidays, grading policy, attendance, books and resources.
• Maintain accurate records for grades and attendance.
• Provide student evaluations per institutional guidelines and accreditation/licensure body.
• Meet deadlines for end-of-course documentation to the division office.
• Complete required professional development hours each academic year.
