Position Overview

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is currently seeking a Industrial Machinist Level 3/4 to join our team in Hopkinton, MA. The role involves overall machine shop knowledge using prototrak controlled milling and lathe machines, and the ability to machine complex high power microwave parts to tight tolerance (+/-.001) in a secured environment. Close interaction with engineering and manufacturing is required.

Basic Qualifications

Industrial Machinist Level 3:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Experience with drawings/solid models.
• 4 years’ experience working in a machine shop.
• US Citizenship.
• Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds and stand for 4 hours at a time.

Industrial Machinist Level 4:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Experience with drawings/solid models.
• 4 years’ experience working in a machine shop.
• US Citizenship.
• Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds and stand for 4 hours at a time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Silver torch braze copper filter assemblies.
• Ability to operate ProtoTRAK Bed/Knee Mill.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $59,300.00 - $98,900.00

Salary Range 2: $70,400.00 - $117,400.00

The above salary range is a general guideline; actual offers depend on various factors including experience, education, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and long-term incentives. Northrop Grumman offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, and PTO.
