Key Responsibilities

• Willing to learn and receive training.
• Signal or verbally direct workers during hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Test rigging for safety and reliability.
• Attach loads to rigging using hand and power tools.
• Select appropriate gear like cables, pulleys, and winches based on load and work conditions.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through confined spaces using specialized equipment.
• Manipulate suspended loads to maneuver around obstacles.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery.
• Support materials using rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear.
• Attach pulleys to overhead structures securely.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Operate vehicles and mechanized equipment such as forklifts.
• Operate machines and processes using control mechanisms.
• Occasional regional overnight travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven experience in rigging, manufacturing, or construction industries.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Mechanically inclined with a passion for working with machines.
• Customer service oriented.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
