Job summary

Greater Green Bay Chamber is seeking a skilled assembler/machinery technician in Marinette, Wisconsin to install, assemble, and align heavy equipment using hand and power tools. The role involves reading blueprints, rigging, and testing units during installation.

You will work as part of a team across shifts, lift up to 50 lb, and adapt to heights and confined spaces. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US and meet the listed physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial assembly and installation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must be a U.S. person and 18+ years old.
• Willingness to work all three shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Install machinery using hammers, wrenches, and other hand tools.
• Assemble machines and fasten to foundations with hand and power tools.
• Move machinery with hoists, dollies, and trucks.
• Dismantle and prepare equipment for shipment and installation.
• Level bedplates and establish centerlines using precision tools.
• Drill mounting holes and align components per blueprints.
• Connect power units and test installations for proper operation.
• Repair and lubricate machines and adjust alignments as needed.
