Hitachi Global Air Power: From our Michigan City, Indiana location, we build portable compressors powering industries worldwide. We seek a skilled mechanic with strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repair capabilities to maintain and repair our equipment.

You will troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery, interpreting blueprints and PLC logic. Physical labor includes lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for long shifts in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience working on electrical, tooling, and mechanical repair.
• Refrigerant reclaim certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot machine controls and provide root-cause solutions.
• Rebuild complex machine tools independently.
• Perform repairs across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
