Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking an industrial production operator in Chicago to independently run machines and produce parts to spec. You will read customer specs, stage materials, and report production and inventory using internal systems.

Maintain safe dock areas and assist with loading drums as required. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and experience in industrial manufacturing; hazardous materials handling training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Hazardous Materials handling knowledge or training required.
• Forklift license preferred; certification may be required for operation.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate machines and produce parts to required tolerances.
• Read and interpret customer specifications and stage supplies accordingly.
• Utilize company systems for reporting production, scrap, and inventory.
• Follow directions and meet product quantities daily.
• Verify drums meet daily schedule quality requirements and are loaded correctly.
• Arrange dock areas to stay clean, safe, and organized.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with operators, maintenance, and management.
