Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in York is seeking Production Operators to support daily operations, changeovers and outbound shipments. You will operate palletizers, seamers, welders and slitters in a fast-paced metals plant, while maintaining quality inspections and aiding packaging and changeovers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic math skills including measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments
• Assist in changeovers when needed
• Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters
• Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
