Unitex is seeking a skilled Class B Manufacturing Mechanic/Technician for our Lawrence, MA facility. You will maintain washers, dryers, and press machines, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support repairs with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
• Experience as a Class B Manufacturing Mechanic/Technician or similar role in an industrial setting, preferably laundry.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams for industrial laundry equipment.
• Familiarity with safety practices and protocols in an industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, press machines) to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with the team.
• Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and document maintenance activities and work orders.
