Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Maintenance Technician for an industrial laundry facility in East Moline, IL. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on high-volume washers and dryers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a safe, efficient operation.

You will work with a team, follow detailed manuals and schematics, order parts, and maintain schedules. 3–5 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma are preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years’ maintenance experience preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high-volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs or replaces equipment as needed; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts and tools per procurement policy.
• Maintains maintenance schedules and records.
• Performs waste handling per process requirements.
• Ensures a safe, clean work environment and proper safety practices.
