Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial laundry equipment, including boilers and conveyors, and mentoring junior technicians.

The position requires extensive reading of English maintenance literature, blueprint comprehension, and the ability to stand for long periods. Strong safety practices and a commitment to preventive maintenance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and various welding activities.
• Conduct boiler chemical testing and adjust chemistry as needed.
• Address safety concerns and maintain housekeeping and inventory records.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners and coordinate with service providers.
