Job summary

Crothall Laundry Services in St. Louis, MO is seeking a maintenance technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on laundry plant equipment to ensure smooth production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with repairs on conveyors and overhead rail systems, and work with Engineering when advanced issues arise. Maintain logs, follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures, and support production teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be team oriented and able to function individually or with team.
• Must understand safety procedures including lockout/tag out, confined space entry, and working on hot equipment.
• Must have a good working knowledge of machinery and be able to repair and maintain mechanical drive systems, conveyors, and overhead rails.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance activities on equipment as scheduled.
• Ensures timely and quality completion of all maintenance and repairs on laundry plant equipment, including conveyors and overhead rail systems.
• Assists technical personnel and outside vendors as needed.
• Maintains the maintenance log with entries of tasks and new problems.
• Notifies Production Supervisors on status of equipment impacting production or downtime.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
