Job summary

Surfside Laundry is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair industrial laundry equipment, ensuring machines run at full capacity. Pay is dependent on experience; training will be provided with OSHA and LOTO familiarity and a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance scheduling, troubleshooting washers, dryers, boilers, and water treatment systems, plus electrical and plumbing repairs.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Driver's License (Required).
• 1 year mechanical knowledge/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a daily preventative maintenance and sanitation schedule.
• Repair and troubleshoot large industrial laundry equipment and systems (washers, dryers, ironers, boilers, pumps, water treatment).
• Test operation to localize malfunctions in systems and controls.
• Repair electrical wiring, switches, circuit boards, and controls.
• Repair plumbing lines and fittings; replace pipes as needed.
• Maintain records and documentation of maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain technical manuals and parts inventory for laundry equipment.
