Job summary

Vestis Corporation in the United States is seeking team members for its industrial laundry facility. You will perform duties handling merchandise, follow shipping schedules, and ensure accurate, safe processing of garments.

The role offers a pay range of $13.22-$15.10 per hour plus bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, with medical, dental, vision, pension, vacation, floating holidays, and paid sick time.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training and written instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Becomes familiar with the garment numbering system (GID) and shipping schedule board.
• Follow a shipping schedule and route garments to the correct sort area.
• Move garments from supply rails to conveyors or hooks by route or customer number.
• Hang shirts and pants in proper order for each batch.
• Identify and re-hang garments that don’t meet quality standards.
• Notify supervisor of quality, mechanical, or scheduling problems.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
