Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Laborer to perform strenuous manual labor in an industrial environment under supervision. You may operate hand and power tools, assist other craft workers, and help prepare and clean job sites.

Applicants must be able to lift heavy objects, work in heat, and follow safety procedures. A valid driver’s license and TWIC card are required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: no minimum education requirements.
• Certification/License: A Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card.
• Experience: 6+ months of experience in an Industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Shovel asphalt or other material into construction areas.
• Assist in patching asphalt and excavate/Fill trenches.
• Maintain a clean job site and secure the area daily.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials as needed.
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures.
