Austin Industrial is seeking a hardworking laborer to perform labor-intensive tasks at industrial sites in Orange, TX. You will follow supervisor directions, operate hand and power tools, and support craft workers across projects in oil, gas, and manufacturing environments.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 25+ pounds, and adherence to safety protocols. Valid driver’s license and TWIC card are preferred; prior industrial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification/License: Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card
• Experience: 6+ months experience in an industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including lifting 25+ lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in heat.
• Shovel asphalt or other material into construction area.
• Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix; excavate and fill trenches.
• Maintain a clean job site and secure tools daily to prevent hazards.
• Material handling and storage; load/unload trucks and haul materials.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report issues to foreman or safety personnel.
• Operate basic equipment knowledge and follow written and oral instructions.
• Meet attendance schedule with dependability.
