Job summary

Austin Industrial in Decatur, IL is seeking a General Laborer to perform various labor-intensive tasks under supervision, with possible use of hand and power tools and site preparation duties.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
• Shovel bituminous concrete (asphalt) or other material into construction area.
• Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix.
• Maintain a clean job site: secure tools and site daily to eliminate hazards.
• Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
• Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
