Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a General Laborer in Decatur, IL to perform labor-intensive tasks in an industrial setting under supervision. Duties include operating hand and power tools, preparing sites, maintaining safety, and assisting other crafts.

You must pass a drug screen and background check; 6+ months industrial experience preferred and eligibility to work in the United States is required. Benefits include medical, dental, life, disability, ESOP and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred but not required.
• Must pass drug screen and background check, as a condition of employment.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
• Maintain a clean job site and secure tools/equipment daily.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report issues to Foreman or Safety personnel.
• Operate hand and power tools and assist other craft workers.
• Follow written and oral instructions and maintain reliable attendance.
