Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. is seeking workers to perform labor-intensive tasks at industrial sites across the United States. You will operate hand and power tools, assist other craft workers, and help prepare and maintain job sites under supervision.

Qualifications

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including heavy lifting and long hours in an industrial setting.
• Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in an industrial setting.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Employees must read, comprehend, and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including lifting 25+ lbs and working in heat.
• Shovel, patch asphalt, excavate and backfill trenches as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and proper PPE usage.
• Load and unload materials; assist other craft workers.
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures and communicate issues to foreman.
