OxyChem is seeking a Lab Technician to support essential chemistry operations in Geismar, LA. The role focuses on routine sample analyses, data integrity, and instrument maintenance within a safety-first environment.

The candidate will perform analyses, maintain records, and collaborate with production to ensure product quality and process control. A chem degree and strong math/analytical skills are required.

Formación

• Associate degree in Chemistry or related field required with chemistry coursework.
• Must be knowledgeable in analytical methods and calculations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain environment and employee safety as top priority.
• Perform routine sample analyses with supervision.
• Maintain analytical data and lab records for plant operations.
• Analyze raw materials and finished products per Methods of Test Procedures.
• Maintain lab instrumentation and improve methods.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain lab instruments and software.
