Serve Electric, LLC in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Industrial Journeyman Electrician to lead electrical work on industrial sites, manage crews, and uphold code and safety standards from day one.

Qualifications

• Active State of Michigan Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• 3+ years as a Journeyman leading crews and mentoring apprentices.
• Proven industrial electrical experience with troubleshooting, large conduit/wires, motor controls, transformers.
• Ability to troubleshoot without schematics or complete customer info.
• Proficient with 120V, 480V, and low voltage systems.
• Strong NEC code knowledge.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience reading blueprints, plans, and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Directing and managing electrical work on industrial job sites.
• Inspecting installations to ensure quality and code compliance.
• Upholding safety standards on job sites.
• Troubleshooting complex electrical issues from start to finish.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Wiring 120V, 480V, and low voltage systems.
• Working with lighting, transformers, motor controls, and switchboards.
• Measuring and bending EMT and conduit up to 4 inches.
• Mentoring apprentices and newer electricians.
• Communicating with customers, service manager, and team.
