Job summary

We Power America in Battle Creek, Michigan is seeking electricians for commercial and industrial projects. Openings include journey level and supervisory roles with onsite duties and teamwork to keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical systems, reading blueprints, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and code compliance on critical facilities. Overtime opportunities exist and employer-paid benefits are provided to eligible workers.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level electrician or supervisory experience.
• Experience in commercial and industrial settings is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues with appropriate tools.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for installations and upgrades.
• Maintain safety protocols and participate in on-call emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
