Job summary

TAI in the United States is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for our Specialty Construction group to install, diagnose, and repair complex electrical systems across our facilities, including cranes, motors, instrumentation, and power distribution. You will perform preventive maintenance and develop wiring diagrams to support 24/7 operations.

Candidates should have a valid journeyman license or 5 years of industrial experience, OSHA 10, NEC/NFPA70E knowledge, and willingness to travel to client

Qualifications

• Journeyman papers or at least 5 years industrial electrician experience.
• Knowledge of single/three-phase voltage (110V–12.5kV) and DC voltages.
• Working knowledge of solid state circuitry and programmable controllers.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including conduit, motors, instrumentation, and wiring.
• Diagnose malfunctions to keep equipment operating reliably.
• Develop wiring diagrams as needed.
• Use precision instruments (volt/amp meters, megger, wattmeter).
• Maintain and repair plant instrumentation and cranes/equipment.
