Industrial Journeyman Electrician

We’re seeking a skilled and safety-focused Licensed Electrician to support daily maintenance and facility operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong industrial or commercial electrical experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working hands-on, and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and industrial equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code requirements.

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.

• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to support operations.

• Maintain detailed records of completed work and materials used.

• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues.

• Assist with electrical upgrades and new system installations.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

• 3–5 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience.

• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.

• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and documentation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Required Certifications:

• Valid state-issued Electrician License

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (based on site requirements)

• NFPA 70E Certification

• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training

• CPR/First Aid preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied environmental conditions.

• Manual dexterity and stamina for electrical tools and equipment.
