Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Janitor in Ladson, SC to provide cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area for an industrial facility. This is a full-time position with 1st and 2nd shift options.

Daily duties include cleaning floors, washing surfaces, removing trash, stocking supplies, and supporting client events as needed. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant cleaning experience and the ability to obtain facility credentials.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
• Must be able to obtain facility/security credentials; US citizenship or Permanent Residency required for credentials at this location.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls/glass, and removing trash.
• Notifies managers concerning repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintains effective communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers.
• Complies with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; uses cleaners and power equipment safely.
• Cleans furniture, fixtures, windows, and restrooms; maintains janitor's closet and equipment.
