Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Janitor in Ladson, SC to provide the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area for an industrial facility. This is a full-time position.

1st Shift Monday - Friday 6a- 2:30p (shifts may vary based on business demand.) The role includes cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas while following safety standards. Requires HS Diploma or GED and 1 year of industrial cleaning experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED certificate required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials/authorization. US citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
• May require a valid driver’s license issued by the DMV.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Keeps janitor’s closet neat and maintains equipment in good working order.
• Drives vehicles to other facilities to clean, if required.
