Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Janitor in Ladson, SC to provide cleaning and upkeep for an industrial facility. This full-time position offers 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) or 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM) depending on business needs.

Hourly compensation ranges from $15 to $18, with actual pay determined by education and experience. The role requires the ability to perform heavy cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
• Must be able to obtain facility/security credentials; US citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintains communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Ensures compliance with safety, security, and quality standards.
