Job description

The Morgan Corp. Industrial Division is a heavy industrial general contractor capable of self-performing structural concrete, structural steel, equipment installation, piping, and electrical scopes. We target the power, mining, process chemical, pharmaceutical, and similar markets. The more complex the project, the more we excel. Morgan Corp. is currently seeking paid Industrial Interns for Summer 2026.

Our internship program focuses on, but is not limited to, students majoring in Engineering, Construction Management, and Agricultural Engineering/Technology, or students who have an interest in the construction industry. The internship program provides a realistic view of what it is like to work in the construction industry through meaningful, hands‑on experiences while also learning construction safety fundamentals.

Essential job functions will be to assist Project Managers and Project Engineers with daily job tasks. Roles and responsibilities can vary based on our current project needs, but could include:

  • Support management and field teams in the construction of various industrial projects in process facilities such as power plants, water treatment plants, dams, etc.
  • Track time and quantities for project accounting
  • Assist with procurement activities
  • Support take‑off and estimating activities
Qualifications
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in field and jobsite environments

Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity for long periods under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out above the shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
