Austin Industrial in Minnesota seeks an Insulator to apply, remove and repair insulation on surfaces and equipment, supporting temperature control and noise reduction across industrial sites. This role requires physical stamina and ability to work at heights, with attention to safety and blueprint interpretation.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, select materials, cut and fit insulation, and complete coverings while following procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive to insulation material.
• Determine amounts and selects required insulation material based on heat retention and surface.
