Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled insulation installer to join our field crew. You will read blueprints, select and place insulation materials on various surfaces, and work at heights to ensure proper temperature control and noise reduction.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of journeyman insulation experience, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to perform demanding physical work in industrial settings. This position requires legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years journeyman level insulation experience.
• Able to apply and repair insulation on exposed surfaces or structures to control noise and temperatures.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Brush adhesives on or attach metal to insulation material.
• Measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape.
• Fit or wrap insulation around structures following blueprint specifications.
• Secure insulation with covers, tape, or sealant as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
