Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks an experienced Foreman to supervise on-site construction crews across diverse industrial projects in the Lake Charles area. You will coordinate skilled and unskilled workers, manage equipment and materials, and ensure work plans and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities include planning, cost control, scheduling, and quality management, with a focus on productivity, team development, and compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Certifications/ Licenses: NCCER, TWIC and DL
• Experience – 5+ years of Industrial and Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents, submittals, shop drawings and schematics to determine work scope and manpower.
• Execute Work Plans for major components and monitor adherence.
• Order self-perform materials and supplies from approved suppliers; ensure timely requisition.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Austin is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
• Monitor daily labor costs and adjust to meet budgets.
• Encourage craftsmen to develop efficient methods and provide coaching on progress.
• Maintain a detailed daily report of field construction activity.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and schedules.
