Job summary

Arclin in Moncure, NC is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support maintenance in our production area. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of faulty instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure continuous operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in an industrial facility, CCST Level 1 or NCCER Instrumentation certification, and the ability to read P&ID drawings, electrical schematics, and loop wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Must have CCST Level 1 or NCCER Instrumentation certifications.
• Ability to read piping and instrument drawings, loop drawings, electrical schematics, and logic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot transformers, motors, lighting, transmitters, valves, and other process control devices.
• Replace switches, relays, transmitters, sensing devices, motors, valves, and other faulty equipment.
• Participates in MOCs, PHAs, and functional description reviews.
• Use electrical and electronic test equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• May work overtime and on-call as needed.
