Job summary

Air Products in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team at the Santa Clara plant and distribution terminal. The role involves installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of industrial maintenance experience in instrumentation, electrical, or controls, with strong skills in PLCs, VFDs, and reading

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience in instrumentation, electrical, controls, or similar environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and instrument loop drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, analyzers, VFDs, and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on analyzers, transmitters, control valves, pressure and temperature instruments, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, motors, transformers, UPS systems, and switchgear.
• Support safety system testing and plant outages or major maintenance projects.
