Austin Industrial in Corpus Christi, TX seeks an I&E Comms Support professional for a full-time on-site role. You will handle custody transfer, inventory measurement, instrumentation troubleshooting, and pipeline maintenance to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

The position requires 3–5 years instrument experience, a diploma or degree in instrumentation/electrical fields, and ability to work overtime. Excellent communication with customers and teams is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associated level instrumentation/electrical degree or equivalent two year trade school.
• 3–5 years instrument experience following journey level status.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, electrical drawings and industry switching practices.
• Willingness to provide overtime coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily activities, task planning, and investigations across Safety, Environmental, Quality, Reliability, and Cost of operation.
• Provide accurate, timely communication with co-workers and other functions.
• Perform inspections on pipeline facilities and equipment as required by regulations.
• Troubleshoot to prevent interruptions to pipeline operations and protect personnel and the public.
• Maintain training for safety, environmental, and emergency response requirements.
• Oversee project execution and contractor inspections.
• Perform maintenance inspections and testing of measurement equipment per standards.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain metering equipment at custody transfer sites.
• Support startup/shutdown activities and coordination with control centers.
• Test and prove meters following API, AGA, Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO standards.
