TriMedia Environmental & Engineering Services, LLC is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to join our growing team. Use your industrial hygiene, occupational health, or related EHS experience to help clients identify workplace hazards and develop practical solutions that protect employee health.

This role offers a varied mix of exposure assessments, field investigations, data analysis, technical reporting, and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in industrial hygiene, occupational health, exposure assessment, or related EHS work.
• Familiarity with workplace hazard assessments, sampling, or monitoring.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate clear findings.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfort working independently and collaborating with clients and project teams.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork, client projects, and occasional team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out industrial hygiene and occupational health projects appropriate to your experience.
• Assess chemical, physical, and biological workplace hazards through sampling, monitoring, and field investigations.
• Review field and laboratory data, check accuracy, and develop practical recommendations.
• Prepare sampling plans, proposals, technical reports, and other client deliverables.
• Communicate findings, project progress, and next steps to clients and project teams.
• Coordinate priorities, schedules, documentation, and follow-through across multiple assignments.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor developing staff, and support client relationships as your experience allows.

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related science or technical field.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification or progress toward certification.
• Working knowledge of applicable OSHA/MIOSHA requirements and NIOSH, EPA, and ACGIH guidance.
• Experience in consulting, managing projects or client relationships, reviewing technical deliverables, or mentoring staff.

Location & Travel

Enjoy a mix of hands-on fieldwork and focused office-based or remote work. All work arrangements include travel, generally ranging from 20%–50%, with the amount varying by project needs, your location, and the time of year. Some periods involve more work directly with clients on-site, while others allow more time for analysis, reporting, and project coordination.

Remote employees should also be available for occasional visits to TriMedia’s headquarters in Marquette, Michigan.
