We are seeking an Industrial Hygiene Consultant with a broad background to assist in the evaluation and control of a wide range of risks associated with occupational and public exposure to safety and health hazards (e.g., chemical, biological, and physical hazards). With the support of Rimkus staff, you will manage, plan, coordinate, conduct, and complete investigations to address complex questions. Responsibilities:

1. Investigate and analyze existing conditions or historic events in residential, commercial, industrial, and public venues.
2. Evaluate and control exposure to health hazards such as noise, microbial contaminants, fire effluents, mold, workplace accidents, and other subjects depending.
3. Operate sampling and testing equipment.
4. Communicate with clients regarding project scope, schedule, and budget.
5. Prepare oral and written reports that document your findings, analysis, and conclusions.
6. You may be required to provide testimony in deposition and/or trial.
7. You will be required to travel locally as well as occasional overnight assignments.

Qualifications:

1. 4 year degree in a science or engineering field.
2. 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
3. Must be a Certified Industrial Hygienist.
4. Strong regulatory experience specific to Federal and/or state OSHA regulations.
5. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of, or experience in building.
6. You must possess strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas to a wide audience.
7. You must be able to perform with minimal oversight.
8. You must be able to lift 30 lbs.
9. You must be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator.

The Salary Range for this position is $90,000.00 - $190,000.00 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
