Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. in Sparks, MD is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician/Scientist to support field studies and data analysis for project decisions.

You will conduct IH assessments, ACM inspections, lead-based paint work, IAQ evaluations, and air-monitoring strategies across client sites, with travel up to 50%.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s, and strong communication and technical writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• GIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IH assessments to evaluate occupational exposures.
• Perform ACM inspections, bulk sampling, and monitoring per regs.
• Lead lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments including XRF.
• Execute IAQ assessments and evaluate ventilation and moisture.
• Develop air monitoring plans including sampling for particulates, VOCs.
• Prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
• Travel to client sites up to 50%.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA/state regs.
