Interns support professionals in audits, training, incidents, and regulatory compliance while learning from experienced teams in a collaborative environment. Findlay, Ohio is the primary location for this internship.

Qualifications

• Majors in Occupational Safety & Health; Safety Management; Public Health; Industrial Hygiene; Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability; Fire Protection & Safety; related fields.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree (or higher) for duration of internship.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to safely ascend/descend stairs and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license for work-related travel.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms preferred.
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $35.96 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in health, safety and security planning and compliance activities across the business.
• Conduct facility audits and employee training programs.
• Participate in health safety projects, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
• Support inspections and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with Marathon units as an agency liaison.
