Job summary

ECS Florida, LLC is seeking an Environmental Staff Project Manager to join our Industrial Hygiene team in Miami. The role blends field work, analysis, and project coordination, with growth under senior staff.

You will perform IAQ assessments, sample, manage budgets, and communicate with clients. The position supports project setup, execution, and closeout while adhering to ECS Core Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• 1+ years of related industrial hygiene experience.
• A professional license is not required for this position, but it is necessary to progress in your career.
• If driving for ECS, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments
• Performs air and bulk media sampling
• Monitors remediation and abatement activities
• Documents field observations and prepares project documentation
• Evaluates changing site conditions and recommends investigation modifications
• Applies environmental regulations and sampling requirements to field activities
• Collaborates with project teams on environmental consulting projects
• Attends project meetings and assists with issue resolution
• Develops relationships with clients through project interactions
• Maintains communication with assigned clients and stakeholders
• Assists with project budgets and change orders
• Prepares invoices and supports collection activities
• Schedules and oversees environmental technicians and support staff
• Prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines
• Develops project management skills through task management
• Assists with proposals and cost estimates
• Prepares environmental reports and develops recommendations with senior staff
• Coordinates field and office activities for project execution
• Supports project setup, execution, and closeout activities
• Performs additional technical and project management duties as assigned
