Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks an Environmental Staff Project Manager to join our Industrial Hygiene team. You will support environmental consulting projects with field work, reporting, and coordination under guidance of senior staff.

Responsibilities include sampling, documentation, client communication, budgeting, invoicing, and coordinating field staff to ensure project success with safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s of Science in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
• 1+ years of related industrial hygiene experience.
• No professional license required to progress in career.
• If driving for ECS, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments.
• Performs air and bulk media sampling.
• Monitors remediation and abatement activities.
• Documents field observations and prepares project documentation.
• Develops relationships with existing and prospective clients through project interactions.
• Maintains regular communication with assigned clients and project stakeholders.
• Assists with project budget management and change order tracking.
• Prepares invoices and supports collection activities.
• Schedules, trains, and oversees environmental technicians and support staff.
• Coordinates field and office activities necessary for project execution.
