SET Environmental Inc is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Project Manager to lead IH, hazardous materials, and regulatory compliance initiatives. You will develop proposals, budgets, and work plans, while directing personnel and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure timely, profitable project execution.

You will manage client communications, monitor progress and risks, and uphold safety and quality across engagements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, safety, or related field.
• Six (6) or more years of IH experience in a consulting environment.
• IH surveys & audits; IAQ, noise, ACBM, LBP, mold surveys; abatement; environmental sampling.
• Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in business writing and office software.
• Willing to travel up to 25% including short trips.
• PM/CIH/CHMM/CSP or equivalent certifications preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background check and drug screening required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

An Industrial Hygiene Project Manager at SET Environmental is responsible to:

• Independently plan, direct, and manage industrial hygiene, hazardous materials, and regulatory compliance projects within the Industrial Hygiene service line

• Develop proposals, budgets, schedules, and project work plans

• Assign personnel, coordinate with subcontractors, monitor project technical progress and financial performance

• Manage project risks and contract changes, develop and review deliverables for quality and contractual compliance and serve as the primary point of contact for clients

• Coordinate with senior technical professionals to ensure appropriate technical direction while maintaining responsibility for industrial hygiene project execution, profitability, and schedule adherence, quality, safety, and client satisfaction

• Provide successful execution of projects from proposal development through closeout and demonstrate sound business judgment, leadership, and communication skills while fostering productive relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal staff

• Promote all company policies and safety standards

• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, safety, or related field

• Six (6) or more years of relevant industrial hygiene experience in a consulting environment

• Prior experience performing industrial hygiene (IH) surveys & audits; indoor air quality (IAQ) and noise assessments; asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM), lead-based paint (LBP) and mold surveys and investigations; asbestos abatement and fiber release assessments; environmental investigations, conducting environmental sampling of soil and groundwater, EH&S/occupational safety training; and/or medical monitoring program oversight

• Knowledge of relevant environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements

• Proficiency with business writing, office automation and communication software, technology, and tools. Specific programs include Microsoft Office 365 software suite

• Excellent organization and communication skills, writing skills, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policies

• Willing to travel up to 25%, including short duration (2-6 days at a time) overnight trips

• 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) with current 8-hour refresher, preferred

• 30-Hour OSHA Construction and General Industry Safety Training, preferred

• Current Colorado asbestos and lead-based paint certifications, preferred

• Current methamphetamine consultant certification, preferred

• Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training, preferred

• Previous related work experience in the construction or heavy industry, preferred

• Professional registrations or certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or the ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire, preferred

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Must pass a local, state and federal background check

• Must pass physical including drug and alcohol screening
