Job summary

Keystone Experts & Engineers is hiring a Senior Project Manager for our Environmental services line, reporting to the Managing Director. You will support projects to identify, evaluate, and manage hazardous material and building science risks, coordinating with vendors and clients to ensure timely, accurate outcomes.

The role requires 7+ years in Building Science/Industrial Hygiene, including 3+ years as a PM and 5+ years managing clients. CIH/CSP/CHMM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years relevant experience, including at least 3 years as a Project Manager in Building Science/Industrial Hygiene.
• At least 5 years experience in managing clients.
• Experience with qualifying and managing consultants and vendors.
• Experience with wildfire, asbestos, mold, lead paint and industrial hygiene projects.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision; strong writing, communication and organizational skills.
• Certifications preferred: CIH, CSP, CHMM.

• Oversee vendors and contractors to sample, test, and document site conditions.

Overall Purpose/Objective

As the Senior Project Manager for our Environmental service line team, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Environmental Services, you will support projects that help clients identify, evaluate, and manage hazardous material and building science risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fire and smoke impact, mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, and industrial hygiene projects from inception to completion
• Implement technical requirements to complete client projects by overseeing vendors and contractors to sample, test and collect data and properly document site conditions
• Interact and communicate with clients and vendors.
• Act as technical expert on all projects
• Prepare budgets and reports
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide quality control for all assigned projects
• Provide leadership, training and support to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to occasionally work off-hours and weekends (10-20% of time).
• 100% remote with occasional business travel.

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred. Experience in lieu of degree considered.
• 7+ years relevant experience: at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Building Science/Industrial Hygiene field.
• At least 5 years experience in managing clients.
• Experience with qualifying and managing consultants and vendors
• Experience with wildfire, asbestos, mold, lead paint and industrial hygiene related projects
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent Technical Writing, Communication, and Organizational Skills.
• Certifiantions prefered: CIH, CSP, CHMM preferred

Work Environment And Conditions

• This position operates in a remote capacity.
• Keystone provides all necessary computer equipment; employees must use company-issued hardware exclusively for all work-related tasks.

Performance Review And Evaluation

• Annual performance evaluations supplemented by progress check-ins as needed.
• Assessment of both ongoing and finalized tasks and projects to gauge the success of KPI metrics

The Pay Range For This Role Is

85,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Remote)
