Job summary

Qualifications

• Majors include Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, and related fields.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree (or higher) for the duration of the internship.
• Strong academic performance.
• On-site work requirement: 40 hours per week.
• Must safely ascend/descend stairs or ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license for work-related travel.
• Must be able to provide reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Eligible for multiple work terms preferred.
• Min - $24.09 per hour / Max - $35.96 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support health, safety, and security planning and compliance activities.
• Assist with facility audits, training programs, industrial hygiene, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in health, safety, and security projects and incident investigations.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and governmental inspections.
• Collaborate with Marathon business units as an agency liaison.
