Job summary

Total Safety U.S. Inc. in Port Arthur, TX is seeking an EHS Technician to support industrial hygiene field investigations, exposure monitoring, and equipment operation. The role involves air and noise sampling, IAQ work, and data management on site.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, conducting respirator fit tests, and compiling field data into reports. Some travel may be required to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus ARSC Basic Orientation Plus and client-site safety orientation.
• Prefer an associate degree in science or technology-related field such as industrial hygiene, engineering, industrial technology, environmental sciences, safety, biology, physics, or chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial hygiene field investigations, including air and noise sampling and IAQ surveys.
• Conduct exposure monitoring for hydrocarbons, particulates, and other airborne contaminants.
• Perform noise dosimetry sampling and area noise surveys.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain field-testing equipment.
• Complete data sheets, chain-of-custody forms, and prepare samples for lab shipment.
• Enter field data into MedGate and create tables/drawings for reports.
• Conduct respirator fit testing and assist with indoor air quality investigations.
