BSI Consulting Services is hiring a Consulting Specialist – Industrial Hygiene to support project-based client work throughout the New York City metropolitan area, with a focus on the NYC School Construction Authority. The role suits professionals with hands-on field experience in asbestos investigations, hazardous building materials, and NYC regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field experience conducting industrial hygiene activities (air/noise monitoring, sampling).
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical reports.
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally and support occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support IH projects including air/noise monitoring and sampling strategies.
• Assist with asbestos and hazmat surveys under licensed supervision.
• Prepare client-ready technical reports using MS Word.
• Deliver in-person safety and regulatory training when needed.
• Travel to client sites in the NYC metro area.
