Job summary

Calqulate is seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The role suits a self-directed technician who delivers safe, high-quality work on site in Michigan.

Responsibilities include servicing rooftops, boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers and related controls; performing preventive maintenance; reading diagrams; and documenting work. EPA 608 certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders, rooftops, lifts, or confined spaces.
• OSHA, NATE, HVAC Excellence, or manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Experience with industrial facilities or large commercial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial or industrial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftops, boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control-system issues.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Document service work and recommended repairs.
• Communicate clearly with customers and supervisors.
• Follow OSHA requirements and applicable codes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation when required.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
