Job summary

Vallourec North America is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support critical mill operations in an industrial setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and install or upgrade HVAC equipment while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in industrial HVAC, universal and Freon certifications, and strong knowledge of electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HVAC technician in an industrial environment.
• Universal HVAC certification and Freon certification.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building systems, and electronic schematics.
• Experience working with electrical systems (single-phase, three-phase, and DC circuits).
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance systems (MP2 preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC issues.
• Install and upgrade HVAC systems.
• Support crane cab HVAC repairs and retrofits.
• Read gauges, meters, and schematics.
• Maintain service records.
• Reassemble and test after repairs.
• Inspect for spec compliance and malfunctions.
• Promote LOTO, confined space, fall protection, arc flash.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
