Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking an HVAC technician to maintain and service heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems at its Bagdad, Arizona operations. You will install, inspect, repair and test equipment, and perform preventive maintenance while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems, electrical controls and refrigerant handling, with opportunities to grow within a supportive, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of applicable experience in Residential and Commercial HVAC maintenance and installation.
• North American Technicians Excellence (NATE) Certificate and ICE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems run smoothly and efficiently.
• Perform installation, service, inspection, maintenance, repair and testing of HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot main cooling/heating systems.
